For PARDIS, music was never just a background. From the very beginning, it was a place full of emotion, a home for thoughts and a language she understood intuitively. Even as a child, she spent hours at the piano, immersed in melodies that spoke more than words ever could. This deep connection to music has remained; only the instrument has changed.
Today, she's behind the decks as a DJ, sharing her passion with people on the dance floor. PARDIS lives in Cologne-Ehrenfeld and is part of a new generation of artists who see music not as a product, but as an encounter. Her sets are never calculated, but rather born of the moment. The heaviness that a driving techno side requires here and there doesn't feel somber, but rather inspiring.
What distinguishes her music is the perfect balance of energy and emotion. Her tracks pack a punch, are powerful, hypnotic, and physically palpable. At the same time, they contain a depth, a longing, a warmth all their own. Nothing seems interchangeable or arbitrary. The pieces blend together, intertwine, and tell stories.
Her sets are never mere strings of songs, but rather finely composed dramaturgies that slowly unfold and culminate in euphoric climaxes. Her sound is characterized by driving peak-time and psy-techno, paired with acid and trance elements, but groovy and hypnotic beats are also a must. Her sound knows no boundaries, is genre-fluid, always aiming to take her audience on a journey.
The connection with the audience is especially important to her. She doesn't play for the people, but with them. Each track is a reaction to what's happening in the room. This is precisely what makes her performances so special and immediate.
At the same time, PARDIS is working diligently on her own productions. She's currently in the midst of learning, developing her sound, and fine-tuning what she'll soon bring to the world in the form of her own releases. The first tracks are already in the works, and we can't wait to hear them.
