HOW IT ALL BEGAN

Shortly after my birth in the fall of 1985 at Cologne's Weyertal Hospital, the first tears rolled down my cheeks: Should I be called Kunigunde?! Even though I didn't know much about life yet, I was sure that was completely unacceptable. I was lucky and became Deborah after all.

The fact that my name means "bee" in Hebrew was a side note to me for a long time. It wasn't until the summer of 2025, when I was looking for a name for my own agency, that it came back to me. Studio Beehive was born—my response to a business that has often become loud, fast-paced, and impersonal.

After graduating from high school, it was clear to me: something in media. I worked in television for almost ten years – including on the editorial team for "Who Wants to Be a Millionaire?", in format development, production, and brand communication.

Baby Deborah

Since 2016, I've been supporting creative talents and projects – with a clear vision of what's possible, a keen sense of timing, and a deep understanding of everyday creative processes. The diversity of the artists has shaped me as a human being. I feel at home behind every stage and value authenticity more than big egos.

Whether it's building your own label, organizing a tour, or developing products like perfumes or podcasts, I bring experience, calmness, and reliability.

Together with my former employer, BWM Communications, I was privileged to design and lead Germany's first certified advanced training course, "Artist Manager (IHK)." I don't believe in gatekeeping and enjoy sharing my wealth of experience with interested parties and colleagues.

In my free time, I love watching American crime shows and appreciating the view of nature. The easiest thing to bribe me is chocolate-covered wafer rolls, but definitely not dark chocolate.

WHY THE WORLD OF THE BEE?

Because the bee represents what we live by: collaboration, hard work, focus, and determination. Beehive stands for a functioning system in which everyone has their place and great things can emerge.

Studio stands for the creative freedom we create. Together, this forms our DNA: structure for creativity and creativity with attitude.

And yet it's much more: Formative memories of her time as a bartender at Cologne's cult bar "Beehive," the idea of the beehive as a symbol of community, and a harmonious feeling when choosing the name – a lot of things fell into place. The rest is Studio Beehive.

The Way of the Bee. For art with support. For people with vision.
